DAY 4: 30-Day Blogging Challenge For Teachers

What I love the most about teaching is the direct impact we have on kids. Sometimes you see it and sometimes you don’t, but, as a teacher, I am motivated by knowing we are making a difference.

Sometimes making a difference means a student learns something new. Sometimes it means a student overcomes a challenge. Sometimes it means a student becomes more confident. Sometimes it means a student becomes more humble. Sometimes it means a student is encouraged. Sometimes it means a student is challenged. Sometimes it means a student has been listened to. Sometimes it means a student has been coached. Sometimes it means the classroom has been the the only consistent in that kid’s life. Sometimes it means a student has had a safe place for the day. Sometimes it simply means a student has enjoyed part of their day.

No matter what it is, when you see the impact, it’s a beautiful thing.
